Water-based emulsion

A water-based emulsion is a coating material based on a water dispersion of polymers (acrylic, vinyl and others) with the addition of pigments, fillers and functional additives. Water is used as the solvent, which makes the material environmentally safe and convenient to apply. After application the water evaporates and a strong, elastic and vapour-permeable film forms on the surface. The emulsion offers good hiding power, fast drying and no strong odour. It is used for painting interior walls and ceilings, as well as building facades, concrete, plaster and other mineral surfaces. It is easily applied with a brush, roller or sprayer onto a prepared surface.
