Road marking enamels

Road marking enamels are special coating materials designed for applying lines, symbols and signs to road surfaces, car parks, airfields and industrial areas. They are made on the basis of acrylic, alkyd or other polymer binders with the addition of pigments, fillers and light-reflecting components. They offer high abrasion resistance and withstand mechanical loads, weather conditions, ultraviolet light and moisture. They dry quickly, which allows road sections to be put back into service promptly. To improve visibility at night, glass microspheres providing a retroreflective effect are often added to the composition. They are applied with special equipment or by hand onto a clean, dry surface.
