Oil paints

Oil paints are coating materials made from drying oil (vegetable or synthetic oils) with added pigments and fillers. They are intended for painting wooden, metal and plastered surfaces, providing protection and a decorative appearance. The paints form a dense, durable film that withstands moisture and mechanical stress. They offer good hiding power and long service life, although they take comparatively long to dry. They are used for both interior and exterior work, especially in construction and renovation.
