LACQUERS

Lacquers are transparent or semi-transparent coating materials designed to protect surfaces and give them a decorative appearance. They are made on the basis of various binders (alkyd, acrylic, polyurethane, epoxy and others) with the addition of solvents and special additives. Once applied, a lacquer forms a durable protective film that shields the surface from moisture, mechanical damage, ultraviolet radiation and chemical exposure. At the same time, the natural texture of the material, especially wood, is preserved. Lacquers are widely used for coating wooden items, furniture and parquet, as well as metal and decorative elements. Depending on their composition, they can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are applied with a brush, roller or sprayer onto a prepared surface.
